Justin Bieber & Scooter Braun Settle Financial Dispute, ‘Source’ Claims

Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun have allegedly settled their financial dispute after years of conflict. It was earlier reported that Bieber and Braun had a rift over money. The singer reportedly owed millions to his then-manager and HYBE, Braun’s company, due to the cancellation of his Justice World Tour, which took place in 2022. But now, a new source has claimed that the settlement between the musician and the businessman is “completed.”

Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun reached a settlement, ‘source’ claims

Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun shared a close bond as artist and manager since 2008. Although things started on a good note, over the years, the two made headlines over conflicting claims of financial issues. At the beginning of 2025, Bieber even unfollowed Braun on Instagram, suggesting the conflict between the two. However, sources have told The Hollywood Reporter that “the settlement between Braun and Bieber is now completed.”

The move coincides with a major role shift for Braun, who was earlier the CEO of HYBE America. The singer’s former manager is now moving to an advisory position in the company. With this new post, Braun will join the HYBE Board of Directors. He will work as a director and a senior adviser to the chairman, Bang Si-Hyuk, and the CEO, Lee Jaesang.

As per reports, Bieber and Braun’s relationship was developing cracks as the singer owed millions to his then-manager, Braun, and HYBE over his cancelled Justice World Tour. Reportedly, the musician had received an advance of $40 million from concert promoters AEG and owed them $24 million. At the time, South Korean entertainment giant HYBE stepped in and agreed to pay off the debt only if Bieber paid them back over the next ten years.

However, the 31-year-old singer did not return the full amount and allegedly made only one payment. It was also reported that Braun had been overpaid in commissions. But a HYBE audit claimed that Bieber owed Braun an extra $1 million. Following this, the relationship between the two turned tense. According to sources, the settlement is now done as “Braun’s last act at HYBE was to close the book on the squabble.”

As of now, the official confirmation from both parties is still awaited.
