The tragic incident took place near Caitlyn’s home in Malibu. The 29-year-old was pronounced dead on the scene Wednesday morning.
Rob Shuter’s ShuterScoop has now learned from sources that Caitlyn privately asked her ex-wife, Kris, to help her out professionally. The 69-year-old is popularly hailed as the mastermind behind the Kardashian-Jenner empire. An insider noted that Hutchins “handled everything” for Caitlyn. This reportedly included scheduling, press, and appearances. According to the insider, Caitlyn “didn’t know who else to call” following the tragic loss. Therefore, she reportedly “called” Kris.
The outlet also learned from insiders that Kris could be considering reuniting with Caitlyn. However, the insider clarified that this is not about “love or reconciliation.” They continued, “It’s about stability.” The insider explained that Kris “knows how to manage fame better than anyone.” Caitlyn is reportedly aware of her ex-wife’s skills. Kris has not yet confirmed she will take up the offer. Nonetheless, the momager is reportedly considering her options.
Meanwhile, TMZ notes that Caitlyn met her late manager, Hutchins, soon after her transition in 2015. The duo shared a close, longtime friendship.
