Someone went to their local community college and took a course on how to maintain a job in reality television. Gina Kirschenheiter may want to look into this class… Real Housewives of Orange County star Braunwyn Windham-Burke made a not-so-shocking revelation. After a long marriage, many children, a sketchy mother, and acknowledging alcoholism, Braunie has come out of the closet.
Braunwyn should be applauded for being able to finally live authentically, but it didn’t come easy. This one broke the mold when she showed up on RHOC, and hers is no ordinary family. Between Dr. Deb’s
big fat mouth homage to Rainbow Brite and “renegotiating” her marriage with Sean Burke, Braunwyn’s household is colorful. Sean has been ride-or-die with Braunwyn since day one. He’s done everything from watch her give birth to struggle with booze. Now we learn just because Braunwyn identifies as gay, doesn’t mean Sean identifies as gone.
After years of publicly begging to become a Housewife on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it might almost be happening for Tori Spelling.
Apparently, she will join Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 11 in a Friend of the Housewives role. Womp, womp. Then again, I’m sure she could use a dollar or two at this point, given her highly publicized financial struggles.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has gone through quite some changes in their cast as of late. After Lisa Vanderpump exited the show, they have a had a hard time finding their footing. Sure, Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke were great additions, but were they enough?
Especially since we saw fan fav Denise Richards get chased off by her castmates. And with Teddi Mellencamp unceremoniously canned, that leaves some shoes to fill. There have been talks about Kris Jenner or Kathy Hilton joining the fray. But nothing has been confirmed and we are left waiting and wondering what direction the franchise will go in. But as it turns out, they weren’t the only names that are being thrown around.
It was a real shocker to Real Housewives of New York fans when Bethenny Frankel abruptly announced that she was leaving the show ahead of Season 12. Thankfully, RHONY newbie Leah McSweeney was there to share her shady and hilarious commentary about the boozy goings-on.
Some cast members were sad that Bethenny left the show. Luann de Lesseps and Ramona Singer were thrilled to not have to compete with Bethenny for camera time. While Bethenny said that she hasn’t watched this season of RHONY, the Skinnygirl mogul was shocked that so many fans wanted her to return.
Word on the street is Bravo is hustling to fill some Real Housewives of Beverly Hills vacancies. Denise Richards drank her last Casamigos Blanco on camera and took off. Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave also left, but that wasn’t her choice. Seriously, it was the one thing people asked for in 2020 and Bravo gave it to them. No word on if Kyle Richards has come through her period of mourning with her bangs intact.
Lots of names are being tossed around to fill the void. Does anyone have Nicollette Sheridan’s number? Many viewers would love to see Sutton Stracke become full time. Kyle’s sister Kathy Hilton could join as a friend. People thought
Pimp Mama Kris Jenner might be an option, but that’s a big no. I’m surprised Santa Claus hasn’t been contacted. Now Kris’ former spouse might be a contender. That’s right, Caitlyn Jenner and her BFF Sophia Hutchins are letting Bravo know they are willing and able to grab those diamonds.
If you don’t know about Rihanna’s fashion line by now, have you even been paying attention? Not only is it one of the most iconic fashion lines of our time, but it gained further attention in the Bravo-sphere during this past season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Fans watched the Sutton Stracke evolve into a fully formed 2020 fashion guru right before their eyes. Sutton went from confusing Fenty with Fendi to, in the reunion, apologizing to Rihanna and her fans directly. (Don’t you just love a Housewife who can own a simple mistake?).
In case you missed it, Rihanna has recently been stanning Housewives publicly. She’s called RHOBH’s own Garcelle Beauvais a “real one”. Now she’s getting Erika Jayne into the mix!
When the news broke that Keeping Up With the Kardashians will end after Season 20, some Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans said that they wanted Kris Jenner to join the show. She is already friends with Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna. Kris is also connected “the morally corrupt” Faye Resnick from the OJ days.
Now that Denise Richards is gone and Teddi Mellencamp admitted that she got fired, there are spots to fill. Andy Cohen recently said that he could never imagine Kris joining a show that she can’t executive produce (i.e. control the content), like she has on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Earlier this week, the Kardashian/Jenner family announced that Keeping Up With the Kardashians would come to an end in 2021. That, like everything the famous family does, got mixed reactions on social media.
And so did an idea from some Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers: Kris Jenner should join the show. She’s already made some guest appearances. She’s friends with Kyle Richards. She knows Lisa Rinna. Kris even has history with Faye Resnick. It could make sense. However, let’s take Denise Richards‘ experience as a cautionary tale. People who are already famous want to control their own narrative. There’s no chance in hell Kris would subject herself to the Beverly Hills Housewives. Yes, it could be a treat for the viewers, but Kris would have nothing to gain from it.
