“I never expected that person. I was very excited because, in my opinion, getting that person is epic. And that person is also very polarizing,” she told the outlet, “So, there’s going to be a strong reaction in both directions for this mystery houseguest.”
Naturally, fans drew their own conclusions. A few names are floating around the internet. Some fans suspect BB13 winner Rachel Reilly may be the unknown player after BB alum Janelle Pierzina shared a suggestive tweet.
“Dude, I’ve called Rachel [Reilly’s] phone 10 times to chat about our next BB Cruise and it goes right to voicemail,” she wrote. “Did she seriously not tell me that she’s going back into the Big Brother house?!??! That woman tells me everything!!”
In a separate tweet, Janelle theorized that BB17 houseguest Vanessa Rousso may be the unknown player. Vanessa has not appeared on any Big Brother shows since her season. Julie said the player is unexpected. While Vanessa is regarded as a BB great, she left the spotlight after her season and has kept a low profile.

What’s the house theme for Big Brother this year?
The theme for BB27 is “A Summer of Mystery.” The house has rid itself of BB AI and transformed into the Hotel Mystère. The newly renovated space includes hidden passageways, train-themed sleeper car bunk beds, and a reception area. Fans are thrilled by the new design, leaving positive comments on the house reveal Instagram post.

How many episodes will there be?
