Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei’s relationship post-divorce is fraught with drama and heightened emotions. At least that’s what shown on The Valley Season 2. Michelle has moved on with boyfriend Aaron Nosler. But her ex-husband is seemingly on a mission to validate his suspicions that the two had an emotional and/or physical affair.
The Valley stars share a five-year-old daughter named Isabella. It is for her sake that they’ve been struggling to co-parent better. And Jesse gave an update on the issue during a recent interview. Thankfully, his and Michelle’s communication has improved since filming wrapped over the summer 2024.
The Valley exes Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei are making co-parenting work
Jesse admitted to Julia Cunningham, host of the Julia Cunningham Show, that he “wanted to put the pieces together” in Season 2 regarding the extent of Michelle and Aaron’s romance. However, a year later, the luxury real estate broker questions “does it really matter?” It prompted Julia to ask if Jesse has been “doing work on” himself.
The reality TV star described “human nature” as being moments of authenticity mixed with times he’s done “stupid stuff.” That could arguably include calling Michelle a “high paid escort” on a group chat. However, Jesse admitted that his ex-wife “didn’t deserve it.”
Jesse explained. “It’s certainly my nature and I catch myself doing it still to this day, but when you can recognize it and, you know, you make a different decision than you may have a year ago, I think that’s growth and whether that’s, you know, 1%, 10% or 50% growth, you’ll get there eventually if that’s your goal and that’s my goal for sure is how I respond to certain situations, how I take accountability.”
Now, the Bravolebrity knows to “take that one breath or that one step back and say, ‘How do I respond?'” Hopefully, it’s enough to counteract Jesse’s “reactive” nature.
“Moving forward, now I know the tools or have the tools to be able to be like, ‘Okay, that didn’t make me feel great. How am I gonna respond?’ Because my response is more important than what was said and you know, it does haunt me,” he concluded.
