Three years after leaving The Real Housewives of Orange County, Noella Bergener says she has no earned income. With monthly bills totalling over $33,000 a month, the mom of two listed her occupation as “mother” in court documents.
Sadly, being a mother doesn’t automatically come with a paycheck. Subsequently, Noella relies on child support payments from her children’s respective fathers.
Noella has two children. Her daughter Coco is the result of a previous relationship, while she shares son James Jr. with her ex-husband, James Bergener.

According to Us Weekly, Noella hasn’t filed taxes since 2022. That was the year she was on RHOC, i.e., the last time she had a paying job.
Nevertheless, the former model somehow gets by on the child support she receives. The courts awarded her $25,000 a month from James and an additional $7,400 a month from her daughter’s father.
At her estimation, Noella’s ex-husband earns approximately $660,500 per month as a personal injury attorney. As he has opened more offices in over five states since their case was settled, Noella wants a bigger slice of the pie.
“I believe his annual income has only increased,” she told the court. “James lives in Puerto Rico and has not seen our [son] since May of 2024.” Because their son spends 100 percent of his time with his mother, she believes she’s entitled to more support.
Noella and James split in 2021. James, filed for divorce in Puerto Rico, where he still resides, while Noella filed in California. Eventually finalizing their divorce in Puerto Rico, the couple agreed to let the California court decide all matters related to James Jr. At that time, James was ordered to pay $25,000 per month.
But in 2024, James filed another court case regarding custody of their son. At the time, James said, “I have tried for years to work with [Noella] directly on custody and parenting time. Unfortunately, [Noella] and I are at an impasse, and I need the court’s help.”
The court has yet to rule.
