Justin Glaze and Susie Evans’ relationship has been a key plot line on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10. Both Justin and Susie entered Bachelor Nation around the same time. Justin and Susie’s relationship began as a tight friendship. The pair would regularly post funny content together on social media, which is where fans learned how close they had become. For months, Justin and Susie had dodged dating rumors, insisting they were only friends. Eventually, Justin admitted that he would consider dating Susie but was hesitant as he didn’t want to ruin the friendship.
While Justin and Susie officially began dating in 2023, they didn’t announce their relationship until January 2024. The former couple dated for over a year, ending things the following January. While they only dated in the public eye for a year, the relationship went back much further. At the time of the break-up, the former couple cited differences in career goals as one of the reasons for the split. However, some Bachelor Nation fans suspected that there was a bigger reason behind it.
Justin and Susie both joined BIP Season 10 four months after their break-up
BIP Season 10 was filmed in May 2025, only four months after Justin and Susie split. Justin arrived first and was the first cast member of the season to receive a date card. He ended up asking Lexi Young, who felt an instant attraction toward him. Lexi expressed worry about Justin’s past with Susie. She felt concerned as she didn’t want to get into a relationship with someone who was still healing from a previous one. Justin assured Lexi that he was ready to move on but things got complicated quickly.
After Lexi offered Justin her rose at the first rose ceremony, Susie arrived in Paradise. Susie hit it off with Jeremy Simon, who was also seeing Bailey Brown. After receiving a date card, Susie invited Jeremy on a jet ski date. Sparks flew between them and they even shared a kiss. During the rose ceremony, however, Jeremy chose to give his rose to Bailey over Susie.
Justin and Susie’s past has caused problems for both of them on BIP Season 10
So far on Season 10, Justin and Susie’s past has made things complicated for both of them. After Susie arrived, she pulled Justin aside for a chat to check in. While the former couple is on good terms, they both got emotional after speaking in person again. Justin explained that the last time they saw each other was to return spare keys, so he felt conflicted after seeing Susie again.
During the second rose ceremony, Justin was the last man to offer his rose. When it was Jeremy’s turn, he surprised Justin by offering his rose to Bailey over Susie. While everyone expected Justin to give his rose to Lexi, he shocked everyone when he called Susie’s name. Susie was surprised as well and asked Justin what he was doing as she walked up to him. Before Justin could explain, Susie told him that she couldn’t accept his rose.
After Susie rejected the rose, Justin walked away from the rose ceremony. She ended up following him and the second episode left off on a major cliffhanger. Susie explained that she felt Justin was sacrificing his own connection to help her stay another week to meet someone else. At the end of the episode, Lexi also walked off screen claiming that she was done. Justin and Susie’s complicated relationship past has not only affected their own experiences in Paradise but it dampened Lexi’s as well.
