This is a time of reinvention for Paige DeSorbo. She announced that she was leaving Summer House after seven amazing seasons on the show. Plus, she dumped Southern Charm star Craig Conover just before he was allegedly going to propose. However, now Paige is reportedly dating someone new – Joe D’Amelio.
Looking back, it turns out that Craig was less charming to Paige in real life. He made her feel bad about herself for pursuing her career goals. Plus, she claimed that he was texting other women during their relationship. Not cool, Craig. At least Paige is moving on with someone more her speed.
Paige DeSorbo and Joe D’Amelio are “going really well”
Recently, Paige was spotted holding hands with Joe in Capri, Italy. There has been speculation for a while that the duo was low-key dating. “Paige has been quietly dating Joe D’Amelio for a while now, and things between them are going really well. It took a few months for Paige to warm up to being in another relationship again, but she moved on after Craig and is genuinely happy,” an insider told US Weekly.
“She’s in a totally different headspace now. Joe is a breath of fresh air for her,” the source stated. “He’s calm, grounded, and much more low-key, which is exactly what Paige needed.” So, he’s the anti-Craig.
The insider continued, “He’s already met her family, and they really like him. It’s a different kind of relationship, and Paige is embracing that.” The source added, “Friends have seen a different side of Paige and can tell she is really happy right now.”
US Weekly reached out to Paige and Joe’s representative for comment, but did not hear back.
While I am sad that we won’t see Paige next season on Summer House, I’m happy that she has found a new love after her chaotic split from Craig.
