The two star sisters and the 41-year-old television personality are linked to each other through their parent, Caitlyn Jenner. While Kylie and Kendall’s mother is Kris Jenner, Caitlyn’s third wife, Brody’s mother is Linda Thompson, the Olympian’s second wife.
According to The U.S. Sun, the two moms have had “bad blood” for a long time, which has affected the relationship among their children. However, Kylie, Kendall, and Brody seemingly tried to create a bond like the sisters have with their Kardashian siblings, but things didn’t work out. Additionally, the recent reports of the two reality TV stars not attending their half-brother’s wedding have intensified the speculation.
A source told the tabloid that he “personally invited” the Jenner siblings, but they skipped the nuptials, giving “the official line” that they had “other commitments.” Meanwhile, Kylie and Kendall had been enjoying a long vacation since their attendance at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding in Venice in June.
Furthermore, another insider informed Rob Shuter that the sisters’ absence “crushed” Brody. “He really hoped they’d be there. It felt personal,” they added. However, the siblings claimed that their presence might “overshadow” the main couple’s ceremony. Still, the half-brother expected them on his special day.
A family source also pointed out that Brody shared a rocky relationship with Caitlyn as well. Despite that, the latter attended her son’s wedding and even apologized for the past mistakes. “That meant a lot” to the groom.
