On Below Deck Season 12, Chief Stew Fraser Olender and deckhand Damo Yorg have been very flirty with each other. Despite the fact that Damo is not technically gay or bi, they even shared a kiss at one point.
He is, apparently, bi-curious, as he explained to Andy Cohen via Zoom on Watch What Happens Live. Though he has yet to respond to the roughly 1,000 propositions and requests for photos of his private parts, he told Andy he “would love to try it” someday.
Meanwhile, he and Fraser are engaging in some major flirtation and even the occasional makeout session on the St. David.
Fraser and Damo are going on a “straight date” on Below Deck Season 12 Episode 8
In a sneak peek of Below Deck Season 12 Episode 8, Damo meets up with Fraser in the boat’s lounge. “I was wondering what you’re doing this evening,” he asks. Because the crew has a rare two days off between charters, they have a little time to socialize.
“I’ll be going out for some dinner at some point,” the London native responds. “What do you have on?”
Finally, hoping to spend a some time together, Damo suggests they meet up for a couple of drinks prior to joining the rest of the crew for dinner.
Fraser says, “That sounds like a really fun idea.” So it’s a date then.
“Damo and I kissed,” Fraser admits in a confessional. “Damo is such a decent guy. He’s attractive, but he’s straight. So it’s a ‘straight date,’ which is not a date. It’s just a straight thing.”
Additionally, Damo says he just wants to “get away from all this nonsense.” They hug and look forward to getting together. “Can’t wait,” Fraser adds.
“Everything’s all super fun and free and jovial and joking,” Fraser previously said of their relationship. “None of it’s serious. We definitely let loose and have a good time, and we’re all adults … We can all do that in jest, and it’s not taken personally by anyone.”
