Love Island USA’s Cierra Ortega Makes Shady Claim About Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen

Season 7 of Love Island USA continues to captivate fans. While the season may have ended, the drama continues to swell like the ocean in lovely Fiji. And this time, Cierra Ortega is weighing in on her former partner, Nic Vansteenberghe’s new relationship with Olandria Carthen. Spoiler alert: Cierra won’t be sending flowers to the new couple.

As you may recall, Cierra was suddenly ousted from the villa because of her previous use of a racial slur. While the Islanders were told that Cierra left because of “a personal situation,” viewers know that it was because of the backlash she received.

After Cierra left the Villa, Nic and Olandria decided to give their connection another chance. In a Casa Amor twist, both were eliminated, but were offered the chance to couple up and return to the Villa. Of course, Nic wanted to recouple with Cierra, and Olandria still had feelings for rodeo rider Taylor Williams.

In the end, Taylor chose Clarke Carraway. So, “Nicolandria” explored their spark and placed second in the finale. However, Olandria confessed that she couldn’t initially move forward with Nic because of her loyalty to Cierra.

Meanwhile, Cierra had some thoughts. She posted a TikTok of herself in Mykonos, dancing and smiling for the camera. “‘You look happier!’ Thanks, I booked a flight to Mykonos after surviving the villain edit on reality [tv] and I didn’t end up with the guy who never actually liked me and wanted my friend the entire time,” Cierra wrote. Villain edit? That is a convenient excuse.

Welp, when she left the Villa, Cierra took accountability in an Instagram video for using racial slurs. “I do want to hold my hands up and say that I take accountability for using the word, but I do want it to be known that I genuinely had no idea that it was a slur,” Cierra stated.

Love Island USA is streaming on Peacock.
