For the first time ever Bachelor in Paradise is helping senior singles have a second shot at love. This year, single men and women from The Golden Bachelor and Golden Bachelorette have arrived in hopes of finding a match. One of the most interesting Golden singles so far has been Kathy Swarts. After only two episodes, Kathy is already the best Golden single on BiP Season 10.
Kathy Swarts is one of the only Golden cast members on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 with a memorable story line
While there are a handful of Golden singles on BiP Season 10, the majority of them weren’t particularly memorable on their respective seasons. A fair number of them were eliminated early, not giving them much time to make an impression. Kathy, however, was one of the most memorable women on The Golden Bachelor.
Kathy was the leader of the ASKN alliance, a group of four women who became close friends during their time in the house. Their iconic slogan was, “if you’re asking, we’re telling”. The ASKN group was a funny plot on The Golden Bachelor, as alliances typically aren’t formed on dating shows. Kathy stood out as a leader as well as a humorous individual, which helped her to become memorable.
Apart from the ASKN alliance, Kathy was remembered for her love-hate relationship with Theresa Nist. When Kathy felt that Theresa was bragging about her connection with Gerry Turner, she infamously told her to “zip it”. However, when Theresa married Gerry, the two women made up and became friends. When Theresa was trying on her wedding dress, the pair came full circle when she asked Kathy to zip it for her. No matter what you thought of Kathy on The Golden Bachelor, there’s no question that she’s one of the easiest women to remember from the show.
Kathy is embracing the fun side of Paradise
From the moment she arrived in Paradise, Kathy didn’t hesitate to have a good time. Along with the other Golden singles, she brought the party and embraced the experience. Many Bachelor Nation fans weren’t sure how this season would go with the addition of the Goldens. However, Kathy and the other Golden singles are proving that they are in fact, a great fit for Paradise.
Shortly after the Goldens arrived, the cast played a game about secrets. Everyone wrote down a secret with the hopes of having the juiciest one. The winner would receive a private date in the resort’s VIP suite with a guest of their choice. While everyone did their best to come up with a juicy secret, Kathy ultimately beat them all. She revealed that she had once slept with someone while her significant other was in a different room. While it’s not clear exactly what happened, she earned herself a night in the VIP suite!
Kathy has already formed a strong connection with Keith Gordon
While some of the Golden cast members have been a little slower pursuing connections, Kathy has wasted no time. When she won the date in the VIP suite, Kathy invited Keith Gordon to join her. He happily accepted, and the two shared a fun night together. They were able to have deep conversations while also showing their fun sides through activities like swim races.
The VIP suite may have been Kathy and Keith’s first official date, but the sparks between them began on the way to Paradise. Kathy explained that she first noticed Keith on the boat to the resort, where she first struck up a conversation with him. Once they arrived in Paradise, Kathy and Keith continually gravitated toward each other. It was obvious that there was a connection there, which was confirmed by their date in the VIP suite.
During the Goldens first rose ceremony, Keith accepted a rose from Kathy. When she offered it to him, Kathy told Keith that she wanted to continue having a lot of fun with him. Both Kathy and Keith have lightheaded and goofy personalities, which makes them a perfect match. While some of the other Golden singles are beginning to form relationships, Kathy and Keith are the OG BiP Season 10 golden couple!
