Real Housewives of Orange County star Jennifer Pedranti and Ryan Boyajian have been planning their wedding for months. They imagine their special day on a beach, Jennifer in a white bikini, Ryan in board shorts and all her five kids around them. Unfortunately, that plan just hit a snag as her oldest son has a conflicting engagement.
Jenn’s son Dawson, 18, recently joined the U.S. Marine Corps and will be leaving for boot camp soon. Dawson’s commitment to the Marines has put some pressure on the couple’s need to set a date.
As Jenn told her fiancé while shopping for their wedding, “I’m not getting married without Dawson being there.” Ryan agreed with her.

“We are talking about moving the wedding sooner because you’re leaving to to go boot camp,” Jenn told Dawson.
Additionally, she’s made it clear that she doesn’t need a big, fancy wedding. “I could walk down to the courthouse and sign papers. I’m not looking for anything big,” she told Bravo’s Daily Dish in November 2024. “Our spot is in the Bahamas. We just got back; we took 10 kids. We do that trip every summer, so we’re thinking next summer. It will be at Baha Mar, the resort we love there. It will just be casual, [just] us with our kids. I’m super close with my family.”
Jenn shares five children with her ex-husband, William Pedranti: Dawson, Harrison, Greyson, Everleigh and Dominic. During the RHOC Season 19 premiere, she shared that her kids “are really excited about the wedding.”
Even though they’re not married yet, Jenn and her kids moved in with Ryan during Season 18. The move followed a messy situation in which Gina Kirschenheiter pulled strings to get Jenn and her kids into a home. But then Jenn didn’t pay her rent. The resulting eviction of Jenn and her kids put Gina in a bad light with her agency, causing a rift between the two.
Months later, things are going smoother. Jennifer and the kids have been living in Ryan’s house, and he’s gotten a taste of being a stepdad.
“You move in with someone, and you think you know how they parent,” Jenn said. “And then you realize you parent very [differently]. So … we definitely went through an adjustment period.”
