In Season 1 of Next Gen NYC, we met Georgia McCann and her boyfriend, Omar Zaki. She had a bold vision for a new nightclub experience in the Big Apple. Allegedly, he had the seed money to help make it happen.
By the end of the season, things had taken a dramatic turn between the two lovers. Georgia and Omar called it quits, and she had to scramble to find a new place to live.
Omar’s whereabouts remained unknown, and fans were having a hard time finding details about him on social media — until now.
Next Gen NYC fans have been searching for information on Georgia McCann’s ex-boyfriend Omar Zaki
When Georgia and Omar split, she moved in with another crypto bro, her frenemy Charlie Zakkour. It was an unexpected move considering their up-and-down relationship, and it’s even more unexpected that Charlie is the one who revealed Omar’s Instagram profile.
Days after the Next Gen NYC Season 1 finale, Charlie uploaded a photo of himself hanging out with Omar on Instagram, along with the caption, “Type timing.” In one pic, the two were drinking in the middle of a busy street. In another slide, Omar is throwing up the peace sign while three ladies look at him admiringly in the background.
We’re not sure if Charlie was trying to be shady with this post, but he tagged Omar, opening the door for Next Gen NYC fans to follow Georgia’s ex. His account is @omarzaki401, if you’re curious.
Omar, who works in the cryptocurrency industry, seems to have taken a social media hiatus prior to Next Gen NYC’s premiere. The first picture on his grid arrived on June 23, showing him sitting outside and staring at a MacBook.
“Hey, I’m back — working hard and traveling the world. Excited to finally start sharing a bit more,” the caption read.
Since then, he’s been dropping pictures of his globetrotting adventures. He’s a full-time crypto bro, and his account makes zero mention of Georgia or Club Club NYC.
Next Gen NYC is streaming on Peacock and available on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
