Miranda Kerr displays support for Katy Perry after singer’s breakup with Orlando Bloom
Miranda Kerr subtly showcased her love and support for Katy Perry after the singer announced her split from Orlando Bloom. Kerr, who was previously married to Bloom, took to Instagram on July 29 to share a photo dump, captioning it “Summer so far.” Among the many photos of her outings was her confirming her attendance at Perry’s The Lifetimes Tour concert.
Kerr appeared to have attended the concert with model Amélie Tremblay, as she shared their selfie from the venue. She also added a video of Perry performing on stage to her hit number “California Gurls.” Other photos included snaps from her Paris trip and what appeared to be a baking activity with her and Bloom’s son, Flynn.
Kerr and Bloom began dating in 2007 before getting engaged and tying the knot three years later. They welcomed their son Flynn the following year. However, in 2013, the former couple announced their split and finalized their divorce by the end of that year.
The “Deep Cover” actor dated Perry in 2016, but the two broke up a year later. They rekindled their romance eventually, announcing their engagement in 2019. Bloom and Perry welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, in 2020. After wide speculation that there was trouble in paradise, the exes confirmed their breakup through their respective reps in a statement.
Kerr and Perry have seemingly stayed friends irrespective of their connection to Bloom. In her 2022 interview with Vogue Australia, the model gushed about her co-parenting relationship with her ex-husband, which included the singer as well. She said, “Co-parenting with Orlando and Katy is something that I feel really happy about.”
Meanwhile, Kerr’s shoutout to Perry with her recent Instagram post received wide appreciation from fans and followers.
