Season 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives experienced a baby boom. Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, and Jen Affleck discovered that they were pregnant during the season. It is kind of adorable that besties Mikayla and Mayci were expecting at the same time.
As you may recall, Mayci shared her journey with IVF with viewers. However, she kept it a secret from her cast members until her baby news was outed during the pregnancy roulette game. And may I add that the game was gross. Well, now Mayci and her husband, Jacob Neeley, have welcomed a daughter to their family.
Mayci Neeley’s third baby is called Charli May
Mayci announced the birth of their daughter in an Instagram post on July 26. She showed a series of photos of herself with Jacob and their baby girl. “Our girl is here and our hearts are so full,” Mayci captioned the snaps.
Now, the proud parents have announced the name of their newest addition. “Charli May Neeley,” Jacob and Mayci posted in a shared Instagram post. The post included a photo of Charli with a knitted onesie embroidered with her name, along with a pink-hued bow on her head. So sweet!
Of course, Mayci’s co-stars celebrated Charli’s arrival in the comments. “I love her name so much,” Taylor Frankie Paul wrote. “So precious! Congrats guys!” Jen’s husband, Zac Affleck, posted. Meanwhile, Mikayla posted two emojis with tear-filled eyes.
Mayci and Jacob are already parents to their daughter, Harlow, and son, Hudson. During Season 2, Mayci got a book deal, which was her lifelong dream. She also visited the site where her boyfriend, and Hudson’s father, Arik Mack, died. Mayci was pregnant with Hudson and texting with Arik when he died in a car crash. So, Mikayla accompanied Mayci to the site, and Mayci left flowers and a letter. It was one of the most emotional moments of the season.
