Prince Harry would reportedly have to go solo while attending any upcoming royal events. He allegedly has to leave his wife and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, behind during any family reconciliation, and there’s a reason behind it. As reported by the Daily Express US, the Duke of Sussex has claimed that it is not safe for the Duchess of Sussex or their children to visit the United Kingdom.
Royal family doesn’t trust Meghan Markle, says source
The royal family reportedly does not have any trust in Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle. Per the Daily Express US, a “source” told them there is no chance for Prince Harry to reconcile with the royal family as long as he has his wife by his side.
The “insider” claimed, “They just don’t trust her.” However, it does not mean the alleged feud involving the royal family will go on indefinitely. However, any family occasions would most likely be a solo affair for the Duke of Sussex. The Duchess of Sussex would most likely not be welcomed.
According to the news outlet, the royal family worried that any verbal exchange with Meghan Markle could turn into a source for her many projects. The list includes her cooking show, Instagram account, podcast, and interviews.
In the meantime, back in May, Prince Harry sat for an interview with the BBC. During the interview, the Duke of Sussex expressed his wish to mend fences with the royal family. He said, “I would love reconciliation with my family.” Prince Harry continued, “There’s no point continuing to fight anymore.” “Life is precious,” he added.
Meanwhile, Prince William and Prince Harry’s cousin, Peter Phillips, has recently announced his engagement to Harriet Sperling. Although no official date for their wedding has been set yet, it is likely that the couple will tie the knot soon. The upcoming royal wedding of the couple could lead to the reunion between the two brothers, Prince Harry and Prince William.
