Don’t come for Dr. Terry Dubrow’s gig. The Real Housewives of Orange County husband and Botched star has been doing plastic surgery for nearly three decades. Obviously, he didn’t take too kindly to hearing Jamie Lee Curtis call plastic surgery “genocide” for women. He just issued a hilarious clapback to the actress, and he made it extra clear that he’s not putting down his scalpel anytime soon.

Jamie originally made her plastic surgery comments during an interview with The Guardian. She told the outlet how she had a procedure at 25 following a remark someone made to her on a film set. She regretted it, and now, forty years later, she’s feeling a sense of moral superiority for otherwise maintaining her natural look.
“I’ve been very vocal about the genocide of a generation of women by the cosmeceutical industrial complex, who’ve disfigured themselves,” the actress said.
With that in mind, TMZ caught up with Dr. Dubrow to get his take on Jamie’s comments. Fresh off a meal at Mr. Chow, he didn’t hesitate to weigh in on the matter. He thought her words were overdramatic.
“Jamie Lee Curtis is a great actress, but maybe Jamie Lee Curtis needs a dictionary because it’s not a genocide,” Terry said.
“Last time I checked, it’s not a crime against humanity, and Botox is not a crime against humanity. It’s not genocide, and you know, Jamie, you’re an amazing actress, but stick to acting.”
Shade! The paparazzi asked Terry for another take. Why did the Oscar-winning actress use the word “genocide?” Does she feel that strongly about it? Was this all a nefarious plot to trick the search engines so that something new comes up when you Google “Jamie Lee Curtis genocide?” According to Terry, it’s probably just a vocab issue.
“Maybe Jamie Lee needs GLP1s to reduce the inflammatory effects in her brain so she doesn’t say things like, ‘It’s genocide,’” Terry quipped. “Because plastic surgery is here to stay.”
He continued, “Maybe for Christmas I’m going to buy Jamie Lee Curtis a dictionary, or at least a thesaurus.”
