Tom Holland Fans React to New Spider-Man Set Photo

New set photos from Spider-Man: Brand New Day featuring the film’s lead in various poses have been shared online. Subsequently, fans took to social media to share their reaction to the pictures. Some of them commented that Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man was “aura farming” in those set photos.

The upcoming film is scheduled to be released in July 2026, roughly five years after Spider-Man: No Way Home came out. The project, which will be part of the MCU’s Phase Six, will see the titular hero joined on the big screen by Punisher and Hulk.

Various social media users shared pictures of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man on the set of Brand New Day. The pictures show the actor rocking various poses as the webslinger atop a car, while being surrounded by people. Notably, in one picture, he can be seen looking down while standing on top of the vehicle.

Fans soon jumped on social media to share their reaction to the photos and Tom Holland’s poses. While the pictures received widespread praise, some suggested that the 29-year-old actor was “aura farming” in them.

“That first one he’s aura farming haha,” one fan commented under the post. Meanwhile, another wrote, “I know an aura farmer when I see one.” “Spider-Man is winning the aura farming competition,” a fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “LIKE GOD INTENDED.”

“Tom’s been aura farming non stop since he stepped on that set,” another shared.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s production began on August 3, 2025, as per an Instagram photo shared by Holland, which he captioned, “Spider-Man Brand New Day 1.” The film is scheduled to be released in theaters across the United States on July 31, 2026.

Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously helmed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, is the film’s director. Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, who co-wrote previous MCU Spider-Man films, serve as the screenwriters.

Besides Holland, Spider-Man: Brand New Day stars Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Mando, Sadie Sink, and Liza Colón-Zayas, among many others.
