While some Vanderpump Rules alums are desperately looking for their next TV gig, Tom Sandoval might be considering retiring from reality TV altogether. Shocking, right? According to an insider, the success his band had on America’s Got Talent has him considering a career change.
Could Tom Sandoval lean fully into his music career after AGT?
Tom Sandoval and The Most Extras auditioned for America’s Got Talent earlier this summer, and the judges didn’t hate them. Earlier this week, NBC confirmed that they made the cut for the live semifinals. Some fans suspected that it was rigged in his favor. Either way, a source told The Sun that the success has him thinking about leaving reality TV altogether.
“Tom is focusing on his music career; he is less interested in reality TV right now,” the insider said. “He wants to launch another tour after his AGT run is over and capitalize on that success.”
The source went on to claim that Tom has “very little interest” in joining The Valley. He already did The Traitors, he got a bloody nose on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, and he just filmed a season of House of Villains. Now, he just wants to sing.
“He is overwhelmed, in the best way, with the response to his AGT audition and feels seen for the first time as a musician,” the insider claimed.
For that reason, Tom is fully focused on the next phase of AGT. He also recently revealed that he’s taking the band back on the road. Who knows — maybe Tom Sandoval and The Most Extras are about to take over the world.
