Has America’s favorite Love Island USA couple hit a rough patch? Sensitive gangster Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales won Season 7. Not only did the duo have a love connection, but they also split the $100,000 prize.
Amaya Papaya didn’t have an easy time in the villa. She was repeatedly paired with bad matches, like Ace Greene, until Bryan stood up and defended her at the Stand on Business challenge. While other Islander’s criticized her emotional reactions, Bryan appreciated her fiery personality. It seemed like the duo was a match made in heaven and the most solid couple heading into the Season 7 finale.

Unfortunately, Bryan and Amaya may be having some issues outside the villa. With the Season 7 reunion set to air, fans noticed that the couple no longer follows each other on Instagram. There may be a sliver of hope because both Amaya and Bryan still feature photos with each other on their social media.
Of course, in the Season 7 Love Island reunion trailer, it is clear that there is some drama involving Bryan. “Chris [Seeley], you were out with Bryan on the night of the alleged cheating?” host Andy Cohen asked. Then Bryan stated that he “had a lapse of judgment.” Bryan’s former partner, Andreina Santos, gave an eye roll, while Iris Kendall sat open-mouthed.
Previously in the trailer, Bryan raved about how his mother feels about Amaya. “My mom loved Amaya,” Bryan explained, adding that she “shed a tear when she left.” And the feeling appears to be mutual. “She’s a sensitive gangster, too!” Amaya said of Bryan’s mom.
Meanwhile, it looks like Pepe Garcia and Iris may have ended their romance. The duo also unfollowed each other on Instagram, and Iris erased any trace of Pepe. Romance is so difficult in the real world.
