Drew Barrymore is once again renovating a house. But it looks like this time it’s her NYC home that is undergoing a makeover. The actor recently shared a clip on her Instagram where she is seen doing something unexpected. She is hammering down parts of her New York City apartment, shocking the fans yet again with her move.

Drew Barrymore has taken matters into her own hands, and it seems she is happy with the bold step. The star recently uploaded a video on her Instagram showing that she is tearing down a few areas of her NYC home. Although the clip left the fans surprised, they did encourage the star to finish the project.
In the reel, the 50-year-old used elbow grease to pull down parts of her kitchen as well as some other areas in the house. “This was very therapeutic,” she captioned the post about her efforts.
The “Poison Ivy” actor is seen drilling and hammering one of her kitchen shelves to perhaps make space for something new. But what caught everyone’s attention was her glass cup shelf, which was very close to the rack she was breaking.
Many netizens raised their concern about the same in the comment section. Even “Property Brothers” Jonathan Scott joined the chorus. He even offered to help her if needed. The expert commented, “Seeing that full shelf of glasses right above where you’re doing demolition, and remembering back to the demolition mishap you had on our show. I’m thinking I need to come back there and give you a hand. Lol.”
Nevertheless, to put everyone’s mind at ease, Barrymore confirmed later in her Instagram stories that “No cups broke!! I promise!! I will move them next time.”
In his comment, Scott referred to their “Celebrity IOU” episode where Barrymore asked him and his twin brother, Drew Scott, to help renovate her best friend, Deb’s home. She was also keen to join the duo. However, in one of the episodes of “The Drew Barrymore Show,” Jonathan Scott revealed that the Hollywood icon is “incredible at everything except installing door knobs.”
