After all these years, Summer House stars Lindsay Hubbard and Luke Gulbranson are still friends. Years-long friendships are rare in the world of reality TV.
On August 26, Lindsay shared an Instagram story that Luke had stopped by to play with her infant daughter. The photo showed Luke lying on the floor in 8-month-old Gemma’s playroom, while the baby sat nearby with a toy in her hands.
“Uncle Luke,” Lindsay captioned the sweet photo, along with the heart eyes emoji.
Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard gives new insight into Luke Gulbranson friendship

Lindsay and Luke first met when he joined Summer House in Season 4. Although some people thought they saw chemistry between the pair, they always insisted they were just friends. Luke took friendship to a whole new level in 2021, when he helped Lindsay decorate her NYC apartment.
To date, many of Lindsay’s Hamptons housemates have met little Gemma, including her ex-fiancé Carl Radke. Despite their nasty breakup, Carl still holds out hope that they can be friends again.
Though Lindsay seems to have a lot of friends, not all of them are considered babysitter material. During her baby shower in October 2024, Hubbhouse shared with Entertainment Tonight the select list of whom she would allow to babysit her daughter.
“I’m gonna go with Ciara [Miller],” Lindsay said at the time. “She’s a nurse, and God forbid anything were to happen, she would save my baby. Amanda [Batula] is a close second. Amanda is very, very nurturing.”
For her part, Danielle Olivera declined the role of babysitter, saying she wouldn’t want to be “with the child alone.” Even though she’s a close friend, she wants no part of anybody’s dirty diapers.
Lindsay also ruled out Summer House alum Paige DeSorbo for any potential childcare. “Paige is like, ‘No, don’t even ask me,'” Lindsay laughed.
Summer House is streaming on Peacock in the US and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
