The backlash from the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County continues, and Jennifer Pedranti isn’t handling it well. As fans largely rally around Katie Ginella, Jennifer seems to be extra frustrated about how things have played out. In a series of comments on Instagram, she tried to shut down the noise and brushed off the racial undertones of this Season 19 storyline. In the process, she might have just made herself look 10 times worse.

Jennifer spent Labor Day weekend working overtime in her Instagram comments. The Reddit community r/RHOC nabbed a collection of some of the screenshots, showing her furiously defending her behavior in Season 19. She’s clearly feeling rattled about how things are playing out and the audience siding with Katie.
“Please don’t waste your energy on all of this,” a fan wrote to Jenn. “Us fans will see it play out later, and none of your business or energy until then.”
“I don’t even need ‘fans’, Jenn replied. “I was told..share your life..be authentic. This… race crap. It’s disgusting.”
In other comments, Jennifer held firm on her support for Gretchen Rossi. She also suggested that there’s a “PR campaign” meant to brand the RHOC cast as racists. It’s a bizarre hill to die on, but she’s climbing it.
“You should all send a message to Katie and let her know what a racist, lying, sh*tty friend I am,” Jennifer wrote in a comment.
She continued, “You think I’m RACIST – disgusting. Please UNFOLLOW Me – tell Bravo to fire me! You have one long running thirsty Housewife that will love ALLLLL your comments…I’m sure her new BF wouldn’t mind hearing it either. Running a RACE PR campaign- who does that?”
Although Jennifer is trying to deflect from the RHOC Season 19 backlash, these comments aren’t going to do her any favors. If anything, she just earned herself a new reason for criticism.
