When Dancing with the Stars Season 34 debuts, it will air without the presence of five well-known Pros. Thankfully, their absence does not mean they will never appear in this series again. Sometimes, Pros take a season or two off, and then they return, ready to shoot their Samba shots once more. Which Dancing with the Stars pros are not returning in 2025?

Sasha Farber began his DWTS journey back in 2013. However, he is not returning in 2025. Via his since-expired Instagram Stories, which US Weekly captured, Sasha made sure to note that he remains excited for all things Season 34. Then, he thanked his fans.
“Thank you all so much for all your incredible messages. I read them all, I see it all, [and] I adore you,” the newly-single Sasha penned.
Peta Murgatroyd also first appeared on DWTS in 2013. Over the years, she has taken several pauses to focus on her family. While she expressed an interest in appearing on Season 34, the stars still failed to align in her favor.
Artem Chigvintsev began his DWTS career as a troupe member during Season 18. The following season, he made his debut as a Pro on this series. We last saw Artem in Season 32, so his fans were hoping that he might reappear in Season 34. But sadly, this wish will not come true for anyone.
Lindsay Arnold is also not returning for Season 34. On TikTok, Lindsay shared that she accepts her fate, as she is exactly “where I should be.”
Koko Iwasaki is our final non-returnee for DWTS Season 34. She starred in Seasons 31 and 32 before deciding that it was time for her to enter her next chapter.
Dancing with the Stars Season 34 premieres on Tuesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+. It will stream on Hulu the next day.
