Gleb Savchenko is ready for a new chapter on Dancing with the Stars. He’s looking forward to a new partner and zero drama this season. Despite previously hinting that he may not be returning to the show, thanks to the drama with his previous partner, Brooks Nader, he’s back and ready to go.
The full cast of DWTS Season 34 was recently announced, and Gleb is back and paired with Hilaria Baldwin (Alec Baldwin’s wife). He couldn’t be more thrilled. The dance pro is looking forward to a season focused entirely on dancing and creating, leaving all the drama in the past.

Gleb spoke with PEOPLE and shared his high hopes for the new season.
“I’m most looking forward to just enjoying work and dance,” Gleb shared. “Finally, I have a partner that I can go out there and dance with and really enjoy and not try to figure out the routine of like, ‘Okay, let me just hide all of your minuses and bring out your pluses.’” Ooh, is this a dig at Brooks?
The dance pro added, “We can actually go out and create something. I can create something that will hopefully be an incredible routine and tell the story through dance. That’s what I’m all about, and that’s what Hilaria brings to the floor.”
He noted his new partner’s commitment and stated she was all about the craft and the hard work. “We have the same goal, same vision,” he said.
This time, Gleb’s focused on making it to the finale, but adds that he wants him and Hilaria to have fun and “enjoy the process. Zero drama!”
“Zero drama,” Hilaria echoes. “Only fun, good vibes.”
This is a perfect mindset for the dance pro to espouse. He had his share of drama last season with his on-again, off-again relationship with Brooks that bled into the ballroom and caused problems for them both.
They eventually broke up. Brooks accused the dance pro of cheating, a claim he continues to deny.
Dancing with the Stars Season 34 will premiere on Tuesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+. It will stream on Hulu the next day.
