Season 5 of Only Murders in the Building is set to bow on Hulu, and fans can’t wait. This season, Steve Martin, along with Selena Gomez and Martin Short, investigates the murder of beloved doorman Lester. So, who is the killer? Fans will have to tune in to find out exactly what happened to poor Lester.
Meanwhile, Selena has a special day coming up. Music producer and songwriter Benny Blanco asked Selena to marry him in December 2024. The setting was a romantic picnic, complete with some Taco Bell. Hey, it sounds perfect to me! Now, Selena’s co-stars are weighing in on her wedding day.

“First, we’re not invited … but we are going to parachute in with hand mics and do something,” Steve told Extra. Meanwhile, Martin explained his contribution to Selena and Benny’s big day. “Absolutely, and, you know, I’m doing a medley that, again, of songs that weren’t nominated … but, again, haven’t been asked,” Martin stated.
When the topic of wedding gifts arose, Martin asked Selena if she needed a salt and pepper set. How thoughtful! However, when asked what the perfect wedding gift from her comedic co-stars would be, Selena sweetly responded, “This is the gift, honestly.”
However, Steve has something up his sleeve. “I have the perfect wedding gift, and we are going to give it to them together,” he stated. Now, what could it be?
While Selena is still prepping for her wedding, and dealing with all the stress that comes along with it, she has one detail locked down. “Marty is due to give a speech. I told him he must,” Selena previously stated. The actress and singer felt “like Marty would have an epic speech.”
There is no doubt that Martin will bring the house down with his remarks. Oh, to be a fly on the wall at this wedding celebration!
