Sister Wives star Christine Brown is now an author. Additionally, she is also a relative of Meryl Streep. In her first book, Sister Wife: A Memoir of Faith, Family, and Finding Freedom, Christine takes her longtime fans on a winding ride. From her hit TLC series to her current life narratives, Christine is baring it all. And on the side, she is also supplying her readers with several fun tidbits, such as the many various celebrities to whom her DNA recently matched.
Christine Brown is also related to “the original Viking”

Several chapters of this memoir are reserved for more serious matters, while others talk about quirkier topics, such as DNA testing. On this topic, Christine penned, “I recently found out, through DNA testing, that I’m related to Meryl Streep.” But then, Christine acknowledged, “I’m probably just as related to you as I am to Meryl Streep.”
This interesting detail pops up when Christine recalls her long-ago labor and delivery experience with her daughter, Gwendlyn Brown. Channeling Meryl through her music selections, Christine asked her team to “‘Turn on ABBA.’ I said. ‘I got this.'” But thankfully, the pain “never got that bad.”
“They turned on ‘Mamma Mia,’ and I started lip syncing,” Christine further reflected. “I went into transition during the song, crouched down on the floor on all fours, worked through the transition, got up, finished the song, and had her in fifteen minutes. It was amazing,” she said.
But wait, there’s more. Christine also discovered that her genetic coding places her in the same lineage as siblings Jake Gyllenhaal and Maggie Gyllenhaal, as well as “the original Viking.”
Sister Wives is available to stream on TLC.
