The third time may not, have in fact, been the charm, but that’s no reason to give up. Charlie Sheen has put his thrice-failed marriages behind him, and revealed he is open to the prospect of finding love again – with one major caveat.

Charlie’s last marriage ended back in 2011. Since then, there apparently hasn’t been much to say about the actor’s dating record. Speaking to People, he said: “My romantic life is as uneventful as it possibly could be. It’s been that way for a long time.”
He explained that, while he didn’t necessarily swear off dating, it was difficult with his kids living with him. He said: “The girls moved in, and then when they moved out, the boys moved in.” He added: “Plus, I spent so much time and energy chasing that for so long. I had to get to a place where I could be alone, but not lonely. I’m there now, which is pretty cool.”
Now Charlie, who has been sober for around eight years, may be in a good place to meet someone. Speaking to the publication, he said: “I am open to love again. If somebody walked through the door and it was the right time and you can’t deny it … absolutely.”
There’s one condition, though. The actor doesn’t see himself walking down the aisle again; “Probably not marriage,” he reveals. He is on better terms with his exes now, “I think everybody’s just tired of bad energy,” he said. This sentiment doesn’t seem to have helped his relationship with daughter Sami, however, who said the pair no longer talk.
The actor is currently promoting his autobiography and Netflix doc, out on September 9th and 10th, respectively.
