In case you haven’t yet heard, The Valley star Brittany Cartwright has herself a new boy toy. She and her new man were even spotted at LAX in late July, jetting off on their first getaway together.
The Vanderpump Rules alum is positively glowing with excitement about her new relationship. But how does new guy Brandon Hanson compare to her estranged husband Jax Taylor?
“He’s a great person, a great father,” Britt gushed. “Just an all around good person. He’s making me happy.”
Brittany Cartwright isn’t calling herself Brandon Hanson’s “girlfriend” just yet
When TMZ caught up with Brittany in LA, she made it clear that she and Brandon are “just focused on having fun” at the moment. She’s taking her time getting to know him and isn’t in a rush to introduce him to her and Jax’s son Cruz. She wants to see “how it goes” before taking that step.
Though she admitted she’s not ready to call him her “boyfriend” just yet, “I really like him,” she admitted. She Brandon first met 15 years ago when they both lived in Kentucky and have only recently become reacquainted. They bonded over their shared divorce trauma, as both of them are currently going through the process of divorcing their respective spouses.
Britt maintained her friendly smile when asked how co-parenting with Jax is going, despite indicating there have been “Lots of up and downs … Hopefully, it’ll get better one day.”
At that point, her former Pump Rules costar Tom Schwartz popped into frame but quickly walked away. “Stay with me!” she laughed, grabbing his arm.
Though she seems very happy with Brandon, Brittany insisted they hadn’t yet reached the point of calling him her boyfriend. “I don’t know,” she responded. “No title yet. We’ll see.”
The Valley is currently streaming on Peacock in the US and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
