Sometimes it’s better to just be apart. At least that’s how Shannon Beador feels about her friendship with Tamra Judge. She doesn’t regret saying that Tamra isn’t part of her life and she’s not taking it back either. The Real Housewives of Orange County stars just can’t seem to stay on good terms.
While Tamra and Shannon made amends during the RHOC Season 18 Reunion, it was only temporary, though, and now the girls are on the outs again. As far as Shannon is concerned, she’s much happier without Tamra in her life.
Shannon Beador doesn’t recognize Tamra Judge’s version of events on RHOC
“I’m in a place right now where I think I’m the happiest I’ve ever been,” Shannon shared on the RHOC After Show Season 19 Episode 10. “And she (Tamra) has not been a part of my life. There was a lot of walking on eggshells in our friendship.”
For her part, Tamra recalled the fun and positive experiences the two have shared over the years and even called Shannon her “go-to friend” for a time. However, she also added that it takes “a lot to be friends with Shannon.” And we’ve certainly heard Tamra’s opinions on Shannon as they’ve evolved over the years.
Meanwhile, Shannon is shocked that Tamra says she’s always been a better friend. “When she describes what our friendship was, I feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone,” Shannon said. “In my eyes, she’s describing how I was towards her. Like she’ll say, ‘You’ve never had a better friend than me.’ She wouldn’t even return calls.”
However, she also added that she never wanted to “go tit for tat” with Tamra so she said nothing and regrets it. “I regret that today. So I just feel I have to be honest,” Shannon added.
Tamra explained that the reason she invited Shannon to Temecula was to get their friendship “back on track” after all the feuds and the disastrous New Orleans trip. The mini break started off okay, but quickly fell apart. I think we all saw that coming.
Shannon accused Tamra of not taking accountability for her low blows and Tamra said Shannon sucks the life out of her. Is it still possible to repair this friendship? Can’t wait to see how the rest of their conversation goes in the next episode.
