Friendships are being tested in this season of Real Housewives of Miami. Some have ended (perhaps forever) while others are still going strong. One of these is the friendship between besties Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton. So much so that Alexia admitted to sometimes being a mouthpiece for her bestie.
Alexia and Marysol have been friends for a long time. Before the RHOM reboot, their group also included Adriana de Moura. But while they had a brief reconciliation, it looks like they’re pretty much on the outs with the brunette now. But at least the blonde beauties have one another, especially during this latest, explosive season. Do they sometimes speak for one another? Yes, Alexia admitted that it happens.
Alexia Nepola admitted to being Marysol Patton’s mouthpiece “in the past”
Alexia appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and was asked about her reaction to how Adriana described her relationship with Marysol to Stephanie Shojaee.
“What was your reaction to hearing Adriana tell Stephanie that she’s been saying your Marysol’s mouthpiece for years?” Andy asked.
Alexia looked contemplative before answering, “Really, I’m not surprised because Adriana loves to talk about Marysol. She’s obsessed. So it doesn’t surprise me.”
She further elaborated, “My reaction is, I’m not Marysol’s mouthpiece. I feel she has her own thoughts, and maybe she’s a little bit afraid of saying them. I’m not afraid. So I’ll say them for her.”
Andy said that that made her Marysol’s mouthpiece. Alexia admitted that yes, she has been in the past. But not because Marysol made her do it, but because she really wanted to speak for her bestie, because she knows what she’s thinking.
“This season, you see a different Marysol,” Alexia added. “I’m not her mouthpiece this season… well, maybe a little bit.” In other words, is Alexia Marysol’s mouthpiece? Yes, no, AND maybe!
At the end of the day, despite Alexia sometimes speaking for Marysol, everyone knows Marysol has no problems saying things herself. She previously gave all her castmates advice and was quite vocal about blocking some of them on social media.
