Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Have Done More Damage to Monarchy Than It Has Seen in Centuries, Author Says

A royal author held Prince Harry and Meghan Markle responsible for causing damage to the monarchy than it has seen in centuries amid their bid for a royal family reunion. The remarks surfaced after the Duke of Sussex’s recent interview with The Guardian, during which he defended his memoir, “Spare.” The publication shared the exclusive interview with Harry following his visit to the United Kingdom, where he met King Charles after nearly two years.

Author slams Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for causing damage to monarchy

GB News reported that a royal author slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for greatly damaging the royal family’s reputation. Tom Bower delivered a ruthless critique of the couple in light of the Duke of Sussex’s new interview with The Guardian. Reports had previously revealed that his one-on-one interview, during which he defended remarks in his tell-all book, “Spare,” left his family livid, and others apparently echoed similar sentiments.

Bower told the new channel that he believes Harry’s recent actions undermined the royal family. The author alleged that he “wants to have his cake and eat it to live in California, pop over here just to remind people how important he is,” while simultaneously undermining the royals. Moreover, he opined that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have done more “damage” to the monarchy in the past half-decade “than anyone in hundreds of years.”

Moreover, Bower shared his standpoint that Harry’s latest trip without Markle caused substantial damage to the royal family. He further expressed his belief that Harry will “get his vengeance” ultimately, calling it “very bad indeed.” The biographer also commented on the Sussexes’ present situation, describing them as a pair “desperately looking for a new purpose in life” in Montecito, California.

Bower’s criticism of the couple surfaced days after The Guardian published the new interview. Only last week, Harry was out and about in his homeland, attending charity events, announcing a massive donation, privately meeting King Charles, and making plans for a surprise visit to Ukraine.
