Real Housewives of Miami is putting friendships through the ringer this season. And while it’s natural for fighting to happen in any Housewives franchise, the ladies of Miami are certainly upping the ante. Newbie Stephanie Shojaee has found herself at the middle of several arguments, and Marysol Patton was surprised to find herself in her crosshairs.
Marysol and her bestie Alexia Nepola have never backed down from sharing what they think, and the two have had a host of opinions this season, from drink throwing to who went to high school, they aren’t shy about sharing. And when Marysol doesn’t want to say it, you can be sure Alexia will!
RHOM’s Marysol Patton insists she didn’t mean to upset Stephanie Shojaee
Alexia doesn’t have any problems saying anything. So sometimes she may act as Marysol’s mouthpiece, but she’s only doing it because she cares about her BFF. However, as far as Stephanie’s concerned, that just makes Marysol the driving force behind several of the arguments.
This surprised Marysol, who didn’t expect to clash with Stephanie this season. She was asked on the red carpet her thoughts about butting heads with her new colleague and she said she thought they would be really close.
“I thought we were gonna be like this,” Marysol said, holding up crossed fingers. “We started off really good. It was a little miscommunication, and uh, I guess I hurt her feelings. I didn’t intend to hurt her feelings. I just wanted to spend the day with my bestie.”
Marysol was referring to when she decided not to fly with Stephanie on her private jet and opted to go commercial with Alexia. The same jet she did sort of hold over everyone.
When asked if Marysol thought that Stephanie thought she was better than the rest of the cast. She said she didn’t think so, but she did think that her delivery was a bit much or that it came off strong.
“I think that her delivery comes across strong,” Marysol said. “Like sometimes you can say the same thing in a different tone and people are like, ‘Oh okay.’ And then when someone says it in a different tone, people are like, ‘That was rude.’”
