Are Kody and Robyn Brown thinking of adding another wife into their shrunken family? Apparently, they’re talking about the possibility.
In a sneak peek of the Sister Wives Season 20 premiere, Kody says, “I think you and I share something very special, but if it’s not duplicatable, it could put us at risk.”
After agreeing that their current relationship is “wonderful,” Kody worries that adding another wife to the mix could change their dynamic. “Why would we put that at risk?” he asks, while Robyn adds that a “guarantee [is] not possible.”

Finally, Kody admits, “There’s something I want, maybe more than you do,” according to People.
Robyn looks confused and asks, “What? What do you mean?”
“I don’t want to talk about that subject,” Kody continues, and Robyn suddenly gets it. “Oh, you’re talking about sex,” she responds. So Kody wants another wife so he can have more sexy time?
At last the father of 18 children comes clean that he’s talking about physical attraction. “I’m afraid, at this state in my life, [it] would be just how good looking she is,” he confesses. “I’m not kidding.”
“And that would be the very worst reason,” his wife reminds him. “You don’t understand how you’re coming across.”
“I know, I know,” he shrugs. “I’m a guy and I don’t freaking care.”
Meanwhile, in a show confessional, Robyn jokes that her husband is “just kind of being a bit of a pig right now.”
As a matter of fact, in the Sister Wives Season 20 trailer, Kody told Robyn that he’d heard from a woman interested in joining their family. “I got another one of those emails from some woman asking sort of like to get to know us for the purpose of joining the family,” he said. Robyn didn’t exactly jump up and down with joy.
Earlier this month in an appearance on The Sarah Fraser Show, ex-wife Christine Brown offered her opinion. When asked if there was “a chance” the couple would add another sister wife, she seemed surprised. “Are they?” she responded. “Is it just for camera? … I just don’t know. But I hope not, because what they have is a soulmate situation. They really do.”
Furthermore, Christine felt it would be “so disingenuous” and “so unfair” for Kody and Robyn to take another wife. “Kody … talked about how much he loved monogamy,” she recalled. “So why do that? Why ruin something so good?”
