Reality television can certainly take a toll on relationships. This is especially true for relationships that already have many other issues to deal with as well. For Hilaria Baldwin and husband Alec Baldwin, dancing competition Dancing with the Stars might just be another marriage stressor. Now, reportedly, the actor worries his wife may move past him amid her DWTS success.
Hilaria had previously shared that Alec was very supportive of her going on DWTS. Insiders said that the couple could also use the money. However, it seems that now the actor is allegedly worried his wife might be tempted to leave him behind during her time in the bright lights.

According to RadarOnline, sources said that the mom of seven is thrilled to be part of the competition. They said she is looking forward to being in the spotlight.
“Hilaria is so excited about this,” said an insider. “She’s seeing it as her big break and saying how cool it’ll be to live in LA and take a break from the East Coast. Alec wants to come out with her and make it a big family trip, but that’s just not practical. Plus, she’s uneasy about him lurking in the background and putting her off her game.”
Sources also said that she and Alec allegedly can’t make it the entire time due to financial constraints. The actor initially worried about having to solo-parent. However, it seems like the kids are with Hilaria in the ballroom, and it was Alec that was suspiciously absent during week two due to filming.
Sources continued to allege that Hilaria is seeing DWTS as redemption for her fake Spanish accent incident and the couple’s cringeworthy reality show.
“Hilaria wants to use this as a stepping stone to bigger things,” an insider claimed. “The fact she’s landed this gig that’s got nothing to do with Alec is a huge positive. He’s quite right to be worried.”
The news outlet alleged that Alec’s involuntary manslaughter charge from the 2021 Rust set incident has put the couple’s marriage under intense strain. And now, Hilaria is on her own and dancing with a gorgeous dance partner, Gleb Savchenko.
Will this cause problems in their marriage? Only time will tell.
