Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited Marcy Lab School in New York City back in 2023 to promote mental health initiatives and education. During the conversation, Judi James, a body language expert, observed that the Duchess of Sussex didn’t let Harry finish his words and often interrupted him. The expert told the Daily Mail that Markle’s behavior is “one of the biggest causes of public rows or bickering between couples.”

Judi James, a body language expert, recently decoded Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s relationship. She also analysed their style of communication by observing their body language in an event at Marcy Lab School in NYC in October 2023. There, the Sussexes made an appearance to shed light on mental health education and initiatives on the same. With regard to their interaction, the expert revealed that a couple interrupting each other in public can look “rude and demeaning.”
James also highlighted the difference in communication styles between Prince Harry and Meghan, noting that Meghan uses more “visible and less subtle pats” to “message to Harry in public.” Prince Harry, on the other hand, “digs into his points with emphatic hand gestures.”
The body language expert also noted that as Meghan Markle “jumps in with her choice of high-impact, summarizing word: education,” she makes it sound like “Harry’s words lack clarity.” James added that during the interview, it looked like Meghan wanted all the attention on herself. According to the expert, she performed a “wide, gracious smile at their audience.”
Judi James further addressed that the Duchess of Sussex doesn’t allow Prince Harry to accept, reject, or plan for her interruption. The expert observed all the moments where Markle interrupted Harry and stated that in the second interruption, “Harry’s body language collapse like a souffle.”
