Welcome back, Below Deck Mediterranean fans! Last week, we met the new crew members for Season 10. Only one episode in, the deck team is already struggling. Their leader, Nathan, is a green bosun who wants to do well. Unfortunately, though, he still has a long way to go, as evidenced on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 Episode 2, “Stingled Out.”

What happened in Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 Episode 2?

The deck team continues its downward trend. Meanwhile, Kizzi begins her quest to hook up with every member of the deck team. Down below, Josh also has his hands full, thanks to their current guests and their highly detailed dining requests.

Captain Sandy continues to help Nathan with his wayward jet ski. As the guests watch, the ski finally goes where it should. Offering a distraction, dinner is ready. However, as Josh explains, the galley is cold, so his plates are not as warm as they should be.

Thankfully, Josh was just being paranoid. His dishes are all met with happy responses. Until the dessert course, that is.

Captain Sandy calls Nathan to the wheelhouse. She explains that he needs to work quickly with the skis, which will help with swinging issues during the swells. She offers him grace. He and one of his deckhands, Tessa, have only been on board for a few hours, courtesy of their food poisoning storylines.

In the interior, V is green. But her work ethic is solid. Josh is great as well, Captain Sandy notes. But right after she doles out this compliment, Davinci, one of their guests, announces his disdain for Tiramisu.

Luckily, Josh has another dessert prepared. “But who doesn’t like Tiramisu?” he wonders. While washing dishes, Josh flirts with Kizzi. Kizzi likes her men to act obsessed, but not in a murderous way, she jokes, not speaking about Josh.

The guests go to bed. Tessa finishes her shift as Christian enters to take over the watch. In the morning, V tells Aesha that their laundry machines are acting up. Noting how awful her first, misogynistic captain was, Aesha instructs V kindly, showing her how to work their machines properly.

But the deck team is not running as smoothly. Tessa and Christian did nothing during their shifts. Now, Max “has to put the fire into the ass,” he quips. Max finds Nathan, telling his bosun that he did all of their work instead. “This is actually terrible,” Nathan says.

As Nathan inspects their checklist from the night prior, he realizes that Tessa actually accomplished everything he asked her to do. Christian, however, did nothing. Nathan asks Christian to inflate all of their water toys, but Christian thinks that will be too much. Just do it instead of complaining, Max says.

The guests want to head into town, so Nathan calls his team on their walkies to start preparing the tender. But no one answers. Christian is too busy inflating the water toys. “I need more urgency,” Nathan tells him.

Josh is also feeling the heat. His guests have very detailed requests for their breakfasts. As he gets to work, Max leans over to touch a jellyfish. But then, Max touches his eye, which immediately stings.

Max flushes his eye with water, and all is now well. He and Aesha take the guests ashore, with Christian driving their tender. Christian, however, does not bring their boat close enough to the shore. Max corrects the problem, as Christian explains that Max is triggering him in his confessional.

Tessa wanders the yacht, not sure what to do. Likewise, Christian relaxes in the crew mess. Aesha calls Christian to return to the shoreline with the tender. As the clocks show, this task takes Christian far longer than it should.

Aesha calls Christian again. Captain Sandy, Nathan, Max, and Aesha all grow frustrated. Nearly an hour later, Christian finally makes it to the shoreline.

Dinner goes off without a hitch. The guests give everything a 12/10. Josh appears, wearing a full face of clown makeup, announcing that he feels “happy.”

Kizzi flirts with a shirtless Max. She then heads to her cabin to FaceTime her friend. In the galley, Max admits he likes Kizzi. But on her call, Kizzi jokes that she wants “to f*ck everyone” this season.

The next morning, V impresses Aesha. She is learning quickly. In contrast, Nathan realizes Christian never brought in the lines or fenders last night. As Captain Sandy starts the docking procedures, Max and Christian engage in a heated discussion, so Captain Sandy scolds both men.

But Nathan is also in need of a lashing. He is failing to call out distances. “We look like amateurs, because we are,” Captain Sandy sighs. The guests depart.

Nathan finds Christian, showing him the items he failed to complete. “Oops,” Christian says. In their first tip meeting, Captain Sandy praises the interior and Josh. Their guests left an impressive tip of €30,0000, she reveals.

Max asks Christian to return the hose to the sundeck. Later, Christian has yet to do this. “Do it now,” Max demands. “You really want to do it, you can do it your f*cking self,” Christian argues.

“You don’t want to mess with me,” Christian stresses in his confessional. But in his, Max jokes, “I’m more loco than you.” On deck, Christian asks Max to stop pushing his buttons. “Push the buttons,” Max says, as the music heightens and Episode 2 wraps.

Below Deck Mediterranean continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
