In 2009, Melissa Rycroft won Season 13 of The Bachelor; however, her relationship with her rose giver failed to last. Regardless, Melissa went on to star in other reality television series, but several weeks ago, her world came to a grinding halt. On September 23, Texas cops busted Melissa for DWI. Now, Melissa is checking back in with the public. In her words, she is “struggling” with the consequences of her actions.
Melissa Rycroft was open about how she’s feeling following her arrest for DUI
Once Melissa posted bail following her arrest last month, she left her jail cell and started putting the pieces of her life back together. However, this task is proving taxing for Melissa. On Instagram, she remains active, posting random snapshots from her life. But in one recent post, Melissa took the time to respond to a supportive fan, and in her response, she admitted that she is struggling pretty badly right now.
As this fan confessed, “I made the same mistake over two years ago because of a perfect storm of bad life events. There’s no excuse, but it happened. Don’t ever forget that you are beautiful, loved, and blessed.”
In response, Melissa penned, “[My] Life really sucks right now. I’m trying to march forward. Thank you for the sweet words in what seems like a negative world.”
This post was likely not intended to make headlines. Instead, Melissa was only trying to wish someone luck for her first performance on her school’s drill team. Nonetheless, this post quickly blew up for other reasons. We wish Melissa the best going forward.
