We’ll admit, we’re still a little salty over Brandon Armstrong and Lauren Jauregui’s unjust elimination from Dancing with the Stars, and apparently, some fans are legitimately concerned about Brandon’s livelihood.
In an eye-opening new TikTok, his wife, Brylee Armstrong, set the record straight about her husband’s potential “unemployment,” and in the process, she shared some really interesting insight into the behind-the-scenes life of a DWTS pro.
Brylee Armstrong addressed fans’ concerns about Brandon’s employment
According to Brylee, Dancing with the Stars fans have nothing to be worried about when it comes to Brandon’s livelihood. His elimination from Season 34 might have shocked us all, but he is still very much gainfully employed by the show — at least for now.
“Brandon is still very much a pro on the show,” Brylee explained to her curious TikTok followers.
She continued, “Just because his partner was eliminated doesn’t mean he gets the boot, and he’s got to pack his bags and go all the way back to Utah.”
After a pro is eliminated, Brylee said that their lives tend to get “busier” on set. Other dancers start pulling them for rehearsals, and they get opportunities to do choreography for special performances. It’s a full-time job, whether or not you’re still in the competition.
“They essentially just became another member of the troupe,” Brylee said of the eliminated pros.
Of course, Brylee said that it was “a little bit tough” for Brandon to get booted so early this season. However, she assured fans that we’ll still see him throughout the season. Plus, you can catch Brylee in the ballroom every night through the finale, cheering on the remaining contestants.
Dancing with the Stars airs on Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC and Disney+.
