Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Romantic Backstage Moment Revealed

On October 10, Meghan Markle gave fans a glimpse of her sweet life with her husband Prince Harry.

In an Instagram Story, Meghan shared a clip of herself and Harry backstage at an event. The couple were attending the Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Gala at Spring Studios in New York City. The black and white video (no longer available) shows the Duchess of Sussex giggling at something Harry said.

“Happy World Mental Health Day,” she captioned the adorable moment, “… to the man who always keeps me laughing.”

Making a rare joint public appearance, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex posed for photos on the red carpet. Meghan wore a black suite by Armani, accessorized by a chunky gold necklace. Meanwhile, Harry looked handsome in a classic black suit and tie.

October 10 was World Mental Health Day. Before attending the evening event, the couple participated in the annual World Mental Health Day Festival. Their Archewell Foundation hosted three panels at the festival.

While his wife beamed from the front row, Harry introduced the first session, “Thriving or Surviving,” examining how young people are handling the Digital Age.

“Today is more than just about conversation — it’s about community,” the duke said. “Young people learning to navigate a digital world that wasn’t designed with their wellbeing [in mind] … Maintaining good mental health isn’t just an individual challenge, it is a community responsibility. Approached this way, everybody wins.”

Later that evening, the couple received the Humanitarians of the Year Award. The honor simultaneously recognized their support of a safer online world, while acknowledging their contributions to worldwide mental well-being.

“Working with families and young people to prioritize safety online has been some of the most meaningful work of our lives,” Harry and Meghan said in a statement. “As parents ourselves, we have been moved to action by the power of their stories and are honored to support them.”

The pair are parents to Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.
