Is Meghan Markle fishing for a Vogue cover? The Duchess was recently spotted enjoying a quiet chat with new American Vogue editor Chloe Malle. The pair met during Meghan’s trip to NYC. Hopefully this budding friendship pans out better than with former editor Edward Enninful – the pair are said to have fallen out in 2022.
Could Meghan Markle soon be on the cover of Vogue?

Meghan Markle had a pretty packed schedule during her recent trip to New York City. But she found time to sit down with Chloe Malle. In a photo submitted to Deuxmoi, the pair can be seen deep in conversation at The Whitby Hotel. Meghan wore the same striped shirt she was pictured wearing at the Project Healthy Minds event on October 9.
The meeting has spurred speculation that Meghan may be about to grace the cover of the iconic magazine. While she hasn’t made it to the cover yet, she did guest edit an issue of British Vogue in 2019. She became friends with Edward Enninful, who served as editor of the mag from 2017 to 2024.
However, the pair are said to have had a rather nasty falling out. Insiders claim the Duchess was pressing for a global cover in 2022, and had a list of demands to boot. A source told the Daily Mail: “The duchess and her team had high expectations … Enninful was not able to meet.” The source added that the editor had been left “furious” over the reported tiff.
Meghan also made her first appearance at Paris Fashion Week this month. She reportedly asked Balenciaga designer Pierpaolo Piccioli for a seat at the fashion house’s show. Vogue icon Anna Wintour was also at the show, and the pair were seen greeting each other warmly.
