It seems like everyone wants the tea on the royal family, including the U.S. President.
Donald Trump visited the U.K. last month on official state business, but that didn’t stop him from seeking juicy details about one royal in particular. According to reports, the President asked Queen Camilla if she had any gossip about the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.
The President has been very outspoken about Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, since the two left their royal duties and relocated to California. Donald previously stated that the government would not cover the couple’s security protection costs.

Meghan has often been at the centre of controversy since she and Harry married, and President Trump, like many, was hoping for a little inside scoop.
According to the Substack The Royalist, Tom Sykes, a royal expert, wrote that Donald tried to get the Queen to reveal some juicy secrets about Meghan. “What’s the gossip on Meghan then? What’s going on there?” Tom claims the President asked Camilla.
It was Donald and Melania’s second state visit to the U.K., with the pair greeted by Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton. Later, King Charles and Camilla joined the President and First Lady on a carriage-led processional across the Windsor Castle grounds. Donald took a little heat for not bowing to the King and Queen when they were greeted by them.
Donald paid tribute to Charles’ late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, during his recent visit, while expressing gratitude to the royal family for their hospitality. He also praised Harry’s estranged brother William, the heir to the throne, believing he would have great success in his future.
The President has spoken publicly about Meghan many times, though rarely in a kind way. He previously said that he was not a fan of the Duchess of Sussex. In March, he promised to leave Harry alone regarding his immigration status, saying he has enough problems with his wife, whom he called “terrible.”
