Britney Spears’ Mom Held Secret Intervention for Daughter

Well, Kevin Federline’s salacious tell-all memoir about his marriage to Britney Spears is filled with wild and heartbreaking allegations. The couple tied the knot in 2004 and then split in 2007. They share two sons: Sean Preston and Jayden James. And according to Kevin, Britney’s mother, Lynne Spears, held an intervention for Britney.

And let’s just say that Kevin didn’t hold back when discussing Britney’s alleged behavior as a parent. After the couple’s divorce, Kevin had full custody of their sons. Plus, according to K-Fed, his sons have no problem with him resurrecting the ghosts of Britney’s past.

In his memoir, You Thought You Knew, Kevin also alleges that Britney was using cocaine during the time period that she was breastfeeding their children. It isn’t any wonder that insiders have stated that Kevin’s claims have reportedly upset Britney. A friend of Britney’s claimed, “She’s absolutely devastated.”

Now, RadarOnline is reporting that Kevin’s memoir revealed that Britney’s mother, Lynne, had a secret intervention for her. In his memoir, Kevin wrote, “It came out of nowhere: a call from her mom, telling me to get to the Beverly Hills Hotel. Fast. She said there was going to be an intervention, and I needed to pick up Preston and Jayden.” He added that Lynne’s voice told him that this was “serious.”

Kevin continued in his book, “Her family had already started talking to her, trying to convince her to go to rehab. Her lawyers had tried to downplay things, claiming it was just an Adderall prescription issue.” However, Kevin had “seen too much” to accept that explanation.

“The late nights, the partying, the photos splashed across every tabloid. Her family knew it, too,” Kevin wrote. “Everyone in that room knew she needed help, and this intervention was their way of trying to save her.”

Kevin’s memoir, You Thought You Knew, will be available in stores on October 21.
