The Love Is Blind Season 9 finale was released on Wednesday, October 22. Only three of the six couples made it to their wedding day, suggesting the “psychological experiment” touted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey may need revising. Who got married in the Love Is Blind Season 9 finale?
The final episode began with Ali Lima and Anton Yarosh’s wedding. Fans were unsure where the couple stood after Ali expressed concerns about Anton’s drinking habits. Still, the couple appeared cheery and confident as they got ready with friends and family. At the altar, Anton said “I do” after sharing a few kind words about his fiance. When it was Ali’s turn to say the words, she hesitated, telling him, “I can’t be your wife.” She left the altar in tears as her loved ones ran after her to provide comfort.
After the drama subsided, the episode transitioned into Kalybriah Haskin and Edmond Harvey nuptials. As a viewer, I prayed Kaybriah would not say I do, and thankfully, she didn’t. However, she also didn’t end the relationship. She said they needed more time before taking that step. (Cue heavy sigh). I’m sorry but I can’t be Team Edmond after that “good guy” monologue.
With two runaway brides already in the books, it wasn’t shaping up to be a romantic finale, but fans had hope fan favorites Megan Walerius and Jordan Keltner would turn it around. After all, they were the only couple we thought had a chance at a happy ending going into the finale. But I guess bad things really do come in threes because they broke up too. They didn’t even make it to the wedding. The episode ended with Megan breaking up with Jordan in their apartment. She told him she needed to be with someone who had more flexibility to travel. So, there you have it. Love Is Blind Season 9 produced zero successful couples.
