Dancing with the Stars Season 34 is moving right along. Week 8, which is Halloween Night, is next up, and it’s quite the deciding moment for the remaining contestants. With the pressure of the semifinals coming up, and the intimidation of an iconic theme night, it’s a big deal.
In addition to stars like Robert Irwin and Jen Affleck, another remaining contender is Dylan Efron. The Traitors winner and brother of Zac Efron, he’s been a standout contestant. He could really go the distance in this competition… if this new injury doesn’t get in the way.
Dylan Efron broke his nose rehearsing for Dancing with the Stars
Dylan recently took to social media to reveal that his nose is officially broken. While laughing, he explained that it was a rehearsal accident caused by his pro dance partner Danielle Karagach.
“It’s midnight and I’m at the hospital, cause Dani broke my nose. We were trying a new move and I took an elbow right here and it made a really loud crack. So, not how I wanted to end a rehearsal day, but we’ll be back dancing tomorrow,” he explained in the October 25 IG post.
The reality TV star continued in his caption, sharing that he was alright and applauding his DWTS co-stars’ unwavering support.
“I’m seriously all good – but I’ll never forget the way Dani, Pasha, and Danielle WOULDN’T leave my side when it happened, warms my heart to have friends like them.
Additionally, Robert ent his best wishes, commenting, “What!!!!! Feel better mate.”
Dylan’s broken nose joins a long list of injuries among this season’s contestants. Fellow frontrunner Alix Earle revealed back in Week 2 that her toenail fell off during rehearsal. Danielle Fishel has also not had a perfect experience thus far, evident by a pretty gruesome-looking bruise.
Dancing with the Stars airs on Tuesdays, at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+. It streams on Hulu the next day.
