It took less than ten minutes for things to go completely off the rails during The Real Housewives of London reunion. If you’ve been watching the season, it should come as no surprise that the cast came out on the stage, ready to play. What we didn’t expect was that the host, Katherine Ryan, could barely keep the ladies in check.
The RHOLDN reunion got messy very quickly
We’ve seen nearly a hundred Real Housewives reunions on Bravo, but we haven’t seen anything quite like the RHOLDN reunion. Katherine, the very pregnant comedian playing the role of Andy Cohen, quickly realized that this gig may have been too big for her britches.
“Ladies, we can’t be on a runaway Heathrow Express train this early,” she said, as Amanda Cronin and Juliet Angus went back and forth.
The two have been feuding all season long. Earlier in the season, Amanda dropped the instantly iconic “Back to Paddington” line on Juliet. Clearly, things haven’t improved for them since then.
As the fighting continued, a small army of producers came out onto the stage to help Katherine regain control of the set. One went straight to Amanda to try to talk her down. Another went over to Juliet’s chair, to remind them that there’s a whole show they have to get through. Still, the anger from both sides continued.
“We’ve got to stop now. We’ve got to stop now so we can carry on with the show,” urged a producer to no avail.
“If she talks about my children again, I will take that f*cking teapot and smash it on her head,” Juliet warned the producers.
Fortunately, it doesn’t seem like any teapots were smashed in the making of this reunion, but Katherine’s eardrums might be permanently damaged from sitting in the middle of all of this screeching. Tune in next week for the second part of the reunion to see if anyone else can get a word in.
