Now, there is usually a debate on these dating shows as to whether people have signed up for “the right reason.” And now I am wondering whether some of Taylor’s cast may fall into this unfortunate category.
Of course, the MomTok influencer and star of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is an unconventional choice for the series. She is divorced from Tate Paul, and they share two children. And Taylor also has a son with her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.

Taylor has been pretty clear about her deal-breakers. She needs a man willing to move to Utah. Plus, he must get a thrill from appearing in social media videos. Recently, ABC revealed a first look at Taylor’s possible suitors. Unfortunately, Taylor’s ex, Dakota, wasn’t thrilled and contemplated winning her back. Sigh.
Well, Ashley Iaconetti and her buddy, Heather, broke down the candidates on The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast. “I think, just based on the articles that have come out, that Lana del Rey’s ex [will] stick around for a minute,” Heather said, referencing Clayton Johnson. “I don’t know if he’s going to go far, but I think with a celebrity connection, he’s not going to go home in the first couple of weeks.”
In addition, Heather, who is a reality TV casting producer specializing in dating shows, knows some of the other possible suitors. “I actually have DMs going back to 2023 with Doug [Mason], trying to get him on TV,” Heather claimed. “I hit him up for all dating shows, and he responded to me every time that he was single.”
However, Ashley hinted that Heather spotted several “familiar faces.” Hopefully, the men are interested in meeting Taylor, and not just at the mansion for some reality TV exposure.
