Prince Harry appeared uneasy during a recent podcast hosted by comedian Hasan Minhaj, where light-hearted jokes were exchanged amid serious discussions. The Duke of Sussex recently appeared on “Hasan Minhaj Doesn’t Know“, a podcast hosted by American-Indian comedian Hasan Minhaj. The discussion centered on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s efforts to raise awareness about the potential dangers of artificial intelligence and social media for children.

According to body language expert Judi James, while the conversation focused on a serious issue, the tone frequently shifted to humor, with Minhaj interjecting light-hearted remarks throughout. This dynamic appeared to make Prince Harry “struggle to keep up” with the comedian’s sharp and mocking humor, she added.

Speaking to The Mirror, James explained that Minhaj’s style, which “blends serious and important messages with the kind of mocking humor that Ali G used to be known for”, seemed to act as a “de-stabilizing technique” for the Duke. She noted that while Harry is capable of being witty in his own right during interviews, his humor usually works best when “he is the one on top of the joke.”

James further observed that the tone of the exchange shifted when Minhaj’s teasing appeared to cross the line from “laughing with Harry to laughing at him,” which made the Duke appear “increasingly uncomfortable.” She also referenced a moment when Harry responded to Minhaj’s remarks by saying, “You’re a humorous guy,” which, according to her analysis, carried a slightly tense undertone.

Despite these moments, James emphasized that at the start of the podcast, Harry maintained control and added his own humor to the discussion. However, as the interview progressed, she said the Duke appeared to struggle with interpreting “the very American-style jokes” being directed at him, reflecting his growing discomfort as the exchange continued.
