According to a report from The Sun, authorities were called to the Trafalgar St. James hotel a little bit before midnight on Thursday, October 30, about a man on the roof. When they arrived, Ben had fallen from the top of the building.
“The man sadly fell from height. Despite the best efforts from the London Ambulance service, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene,” a spokesperson said. “His death is unexpected but non-suspicious”.
Fans of BBUK will remember Ben from Season 11 of the competition show. He entered the house, admitting that he didn’t know much about the show. He claimed he was just looking for a way out of working a nine-to-five job. Can you blame him?
Despite his unfamiliarity with the show, he wound up making it over halfway through the competition, getting evicted on Day 52.
Before his reality TV career, Ben attended the University of St. Andrews along with Prince William and Kate Middleton. He was said to be a part of the royal couple’s inner circle. Rumor has it that he was actually in the room the day that the two met.
In addition to his appearance on BBUK, Ben maintained a steady presence on reality TV over the years. He wound up popping up on Channel 4’s Come Dine With Me and Celebrity Coach Trip in addition to the Australian series, Ladette To Lady.
